Albert Einstein was born on 14th march 1879 and passed away on 18th April 1955 (aged 75).He was German. His dad was called Herman Einstein, he was a salesman and engineer. His mom was called Pauline Koch. When it was 1880 Einstein's family moved to Munich. At this point of time Einstein's father founded his company, Elektrotechnische Fabrik J. Einstein & Cie , a company that manufactured electrical equipment based on direct current .

Albert Einstein was a famous physicist. His research spanned from quantum mechanics to theories about gravity and motion. After publishing some ground-breaking papers, Einstein toured the world and gave speeches about his discoveries. In 1921 he won the Nobel Prize for Physics for his discovery of the photoelectric effect.
